8 months already

Our little munchkin is already 8 months old!

We love pancakes!

Just like the title says we LOVE pancakes!!! Madison has become pretty good at feeding herself in the past few weeks, and with that comes new foods! Finger foods and table foods! Pancakes seem to be a big hit! The other day she even tried a bit of Mommy's ice cream :) But in between today and our last post we have all been sick! Both Kim & Chris had a fever and sore throat, and the little munchkin had a fever, and then broke out in a bunch of blisters, turns out she had coxsackie "foot and mouth disease". BUT we are all on the mend and the fact that Madison had pancakes tonight shows us her throat is getting better!!

She LOVES her activity table! If she can pull herself on something she will. So only 2 weeks after crawling she is now getting adventurous. She even lets go and stands on her own! Madison has also started cruising between things!  We are in for one busy summer!! We can't wait!

May God Bless Madison

This past weekend was a busy one and it hasn't stopped!! Kim's parents Pam & Dave came down on friday so we met them in the city for dinner at STK on the rooftop! It was a pretty neat experience eating on the roof with views of the Hudson! Unfortunately we have no pictures as we were to busy enjoying our evening! After our lovely dinner we headed back over to Times Square for our FAVORITE dessert ... Junior's Cheesecake!! We travelled around Times Square for a bit before leaving mom & dad at their hotel and heading home!

On Saturday we spent the day with family waiting for Kim's brothers to arrive! Now Sunday is a whole other story!... It was Madison's christening!  Madison wore a GORGEOUS gown that was handmade by Kim's Oma. The dress is a very special family heirloom. The dress originally started as a wedding gown in 1964, it was then turned into a christening gown that has been worn by Madison's aunts, uncles, grandfather, great aunt's and uncle and a few second cousins! Madison's godparents are her Uncle Michael, Chris's youngest brother, and Kate Jones, Chris's cousin. After the baptism we headed over to Chris's parents house and had a fun bbq and family time!

 We were so happy to be able to spend the day with Brian and Linda, the flew down from the Niagara Falls area (Canada :) ) just for the day! This was also the first time they met their great niece!

On monday Chris and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary by having dinner at Michael Angelo's in the Bronx. 

We would like to thank everyone that came and those that couldn't make it but were their in spirit!

 

Now on to another busy week.. getting our house back in order and getting ready for Delaware in a few weeks:)

HELLO SUMMER!

We started our busy week off with a long weekend! It was Memorial Day weekend and in Ardsley (Chris' hometown) there is a parade! Chris' father drives his truck in the parade every year and plays music at the start of the parade, and Miss Madison was lucky enough to get to ride in the front of Pop's truck! 

Chris, Madison and I would like to thank everyone for all their kind words and support over the past week since Chris' shoulder surgery. He is doing well and will be getting the stitches out tomorrow!! (YAY!)

Well its off to continue our busy week..shopping for some items for Madison's baptism this weekend, and our 2nd anniversary on Monday!

Slowing down for abit..

Hope everyone is having a great May so far.. we are!!! We just got back from an amazing vacation in Florida with my family, my parents, bothers and Emily (Ryan's girlfriend). The trip ended up being better then I could have imagined! Chris got hurt at work at the end of March and is currently on light duty, so this wasnt going to allow him to join us :( BUT to my surprise on Wednesday night he showed up in Florida!!! It was an amazing surprise! Both Madison and I were so happy to have him there for the 2nd part of our vacation! Chris also needed a little bit of a vacation himself as he will be having surgery on his shoulder on May 23. 

Our vacation included a lot of 1st for Madison.. including her first plane ride! Which she did amazing! Only a little bit of crying on the way to there, she really wasn't into the whole sitting around hours thing! But once she fell a sleep it was smoothing sailing!

 The resort we were at was amazing!! They had a zero entry pool which Madison was quickly introduced to upon our arrival and she loved it!!! It also has a massive Lazy River.. which is where most of our week was spent!

 There is also a huge blow up slide called the hippo.. so much fun!!!
