GIANTS

Madison is following in the footsteps of the Murray's & Lindgren's .. she is a NY GIANTS FAN .. (Mommy is still hoping she turns out to like the Patriots)  

While at a last night Madison said "Giants" about 4 times in a row and just repeated it for Chris, her die hard giants loving father.  The whole family is beyond thrilled.. now if we could only get her to say "Go Canada" ;)

Well it looks like Madison is taking after both parents when it comes to food .. she LOVES cheeseburgers! Yesterday was Chris's FDNY firehouse's annual family picnic and Madison enjoyed all the good food the guys were cooking up.. mom and dad enjoyed it too ;) Along with all the food there was lots of swimming, games and visiting with people we haven't seen in awhile! Ever heard of Kan Jam?? No? Well your missing out then! It might be our next purchase..


Off to clean up our basement.. our new couch is coming this week :)

WOW!

As I sit here writing this blog post I am watching Madison in her crib as she is taking steps by herself! It is so amazing to be able to watch her grow and learn new things! I only have a few minutes to write this blog as she is finished her nap and clearly ready to get down on the floor and play!

The past few weeks have been very hectic around here and I haven't really been able to update the blog as much as I had planned to originally and for that I am sorry! I have cut down my time at the restaurant to spend more time with Madison which in turn gives me more time to update this blog and another blog I have started working on. In the past few months since starting this blog I have noticed that we have been making a little money from it. And this was NOT at all the reason why we started the blog, but it is the reason I am starting the new one. I can't give away to many details right now but in the next month or so you will all know what all the fuss is about.!

Hope everyone is having an amazing summer and taking time out to enjoy the nice weather with friends with family! 

Big steps!

Sorry it's been awhile folks! We've been busy growing and learning! The biggest thing since our last post is ... Madison's first step!!!

Life is better on a beach!

This past week we took up Chris' Aunt Patrice's offer of staying at her home in Rehobeth Beach, DE! It was short but fun trip, full of a bunch of "first's" for miss Madison. We started the day on Tuesday by hitting the outlets (of course when they are 5 min away you can't say no!). After Madison took a short nap we headed out to Dewey Beach! I will admit I was super nervous about taking her to the beach for the first time, just about how she would do with the sand, what if she ate it? and how she would react to the ocean. Chris and I were both a little more at ease because Aunt Patrice came with us and she has two boys that grew up on the beach! Turns out we had nothing to worry about! Madison LOVED the beach! She even might have gained 2 lbs from all the sand she ate!

After we said goodbye to The Riggin's we headed off to Baltimore to the Aquarium! It was another first for Madison as she had never been to an aquarium but she had fun.. she was very interested in all the colors!

All in all it was an amazing and fun trip!! We can't wait to go back next summer!!! Thank you to the Riggin's family for taking us in for the few days, we had a blast!!
