Hippity hoppity...

Easters on its way and so are opa, grandma and grandma :)
We are looking forward to this weekend!
Since Madison is now at an age where she loves to help with everything .. Especially if it involves baking (a girl after my own heart) I've decided to start building special memories with her in the kitchen. At Christmas she helped make the "Andes candies cookies" and now it's time for Easter Bark!
I love Pinterest and was searching for something to make for Easter and came across "bark" which is essentially melted chocolate with candy, cookies, peanuts etc in it! I found some for every holiday!  We actually made 2 different kinds -an Easter one and a peanut butter cup bark!

Here's how we made it:

2 bags of White melting wafers
1 bag of Easter m&ms (you won't need the whole bag)
Sprinkles
Oreos

Step 1
Melt the melting wafers in the microwave - using the directions on the package

Step 2
Put your Oreos in a bag and crush them and then shake them up.. Madison enjoyed this part

Step 3
Pour the melted chocolate over wax paper in a cookie sheet

Step 4
Put the Oreos, sprinkles and m&ms on the chocolate and put in the fridge for 30 min to cool. Once it's cooled break it aprt and enjoy!
